Matthew Waite LLB (Hons)
Matthew graduated from Birmingham University in 1982 and after completing his Professional Finals at the College of Law, Chancery Lane, London, he was admitted as a Solicitor in 1986.
He has considerable experience as a solicitor in general practice and is a proven expert in family law, being a member of both the Law Society Family Law Accreditation Panel for more than 20 years and an accredited member of Resolution, demonstrating his high level of knowledge, skill, experience and practice in this area of the law.
Matthew also practices in the field of Commercial Conveyancing, with special expertise in commercial property transactions for pension funds.
Matthew has a reputation for providing clients with the highest standards of expertise and client care, in a straightforward and pre-emptive manner. He is calm, knowledgeable and persuasive. He acts for a wide range of clients, both private and corporate, large and small. His philosophy drives the firm in its pursuit of excellence, giving clients access to the best legal advice and representation.
Kathryn Mould LLB (Hons)
Kathryn graduated from Middlesex University with a law degree and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester before qualifying as a solicitor in November 2002. She specialises in family law. Kathryn is a member of Resolution, offering expert advice to clients on a wide range of subjects ranging from divorce and disputes relating to children to pre-nuptial agreements and financial settlements for both high net worth clients and those with more modest means.
She offers empathy and understanding as well as legal expertise. As a member of Resolution, Kathryn’s philosophy is to promote a creative and constructive approach to family issues to achieve the best outcome for her clients. She has a conciliatory but firm approach with a keen focus on resolving disputes in the most cost effective manner.

Harry Alexander LLB (Hons)
After graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 2006 and completing the LPC at Nottingham Law School, Harry was admitted as a Solicitor in 2010, when he joined the firm. He specialises in property matters, both residential and commercial, offering expert advice in a friendly, proactive and efficient way.
Harry is Head of our Property Department, and proud of our membership of The Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme, proof that we follow best practice, meet the highest standards of technical expertise and client service and are able to satisfy regulators, lenders and insurers. Acting for private clients, he handles a variety of legal work including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, equity release, transfers of equity and lease extensions.
Harry also represents a wide range of commercial clients in a variety of matters including property sales and purchases, business sales, negotiation and grant of new leases, lease assignment and surrender.
Claire Waite BA (Hons)
Claire has been the firm’s Accounts and Practice Manager since its inception in 2003. Her role encompasses the general development and success of our practice, with particular responsibility for supervision of our client accounts, banking and human resources.
Sandra is Matthew’s secretary and personal assistant, having joined the firm in 2017. She has been a legal secretary for most of her working life and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. She works closely with Matthew in providing a friendly and responsive service to clients.
Emma is the firm’s legal cashier and book-keeper, responsible for the administration of our client ledgers and credit control.
Audra is Harry Alexander’s secretary and personal assistant, collaborating with him in the firm’s conveyancing department in providing the highest level of service and response to his clients. She joined the firm in 2018 and previously had responsibility for post-completion matters for both commercial and residential property transactions before taking her current role.
Caroline joined the firm in 2004 and was Matthew Waite’s secretary for many years before taking a career break to start a family. After a spell as the firm’s bookkeeper, she has rejoined the firm as a member of the secretarial team with special responsibility for post-completion matters in the firm’s conveyancing department. Caroline brings with her valuable knowledge of the firm’s clients and ethos.
Claire provides reception, secretarial and other support services, with special responsibility for digital archiving and for the firm's anti-money laundering identification procedures.
